DOSFunnel for ALR Systems

The automatic dropping funnel, DOSFunnel, enables liquids to be metered into the reactor of a Automaded Lab Reactors System. Its function is controlled automatically by the software. The principal application controls the addition of the liquid in the funnel to the reactor at a specific time.

Description
Standard equipment:A 100 ml or 250 ml dropping funnel with pressure equalizing tube and graduations
PTFE plug with solenoid valve;
LabMax® / Universal Control Box (UCB) connecting cable (2 m) and 1 RD10 connecting cable (2.9 m);
Glass stoppers;
Clips for ground joints;

Features and Benefits
- The quantity of reagent specified in an experiment can be programmed and automatically added to the reactor.
- The dosing rate can be set and controlled by the output signal to the valve. The total contents of the funnel can be added all at once or over a specified period of time. The output signal required to do this can be estimated from a characteristic curve.
- DOSFunnel can be used with an RC1/RD10, an SSPS, a LabMax® /RD10 or a MultiMax™/UCB setup.
- DOSFunnel is suitable for all reactors operated at ambient pressure. It can also be used for aggressive liquids as the DOSFunnel's parts are made of glass or PTFE.
