This innovative annual event offers a prestigious roster of industry professionals and research pioneers who will share their knowledge and experience in chemical process research, continuous processing, crystallization, process safety, and scale-up, Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD), and emerging research.
The Conference is an excellent opportunity to meet experts from industry and academia and learn about new applications and techniques in the field of chemical and process development during roundtable discussions and workshops. Presentations will be given on topics including:

As well as hands-on product and application workshops hosted by METTLER TOLEDO Technology and Application Consultants. Training Sessions and Workshops are included in the Conference Registration fee – a saving of $3000 (the cost of a standalone 1 day training session)

Conference Registration
Conference registration include
- Four nights accomodation (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)

- Welcome dinner (Sunday evening)
- All breakfasts, lunches, dinners and refreshment breaks (Monday-Thursday morning)

Past Award Winners
During each International Process Development Conference, attendees have the opportunity to vote for the "Best Paper". The speaker with the most votes is announced during the Conference Awards dinner which takes place on the final evening of the Conference (Wednesday). In 2009:
- Best Paper Award was Adrian Daly from Pfizer, Ireland with his paper “Use of Online Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy for Process Understanding in API Manufacturing”
- Second runner up was Stephen Rowe from Chilworth Technology Ltd, UK (Process Safety Decisions Using RC1e™, RTCal™, iC Safety™ and Criticality Classes”)
- Third runner up was Prof. Allen Wright from University Newcastle, UK ("Safety and Other Aspects of Batch to Continuous Operation”).
